JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
3Qi Design is looking for a capable, enthusiastic, and thoughtful Junior Designer who takes direction well, and is able to act as a strong support to the design team. The Junior Designer will work in a collaborative environment with Intermediate and Senior designers on high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through procurement and installation.
DUTIES
Researching vendors and maintenance of the material library.

Preparing hand sketches and computer-generated renderings for internal design review.

Assisting in the creation of specification packages and custom furniture drawings.

Order tracking and vendor correspondence for multiple client projects.

Assisting with the production of construction drawing sets, in coordination with the Senior Interior Designer and Project Architect.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
2-3 years experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school of interior design or architecture.

Eagerness to learn the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation.

Must have strong AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam skills.

INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER
3Qi Design is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Interior Designer who works well independently and in a fast-paced group setting. The Designer will work seamlessly with the design team in overseeing and managing long-term, high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through procurement and installation.
DUTIES

Sourcing bespoke furniture design, fabrics, lighting, art, and finishes.

Drawing of custom furniture pieces.

Creating detailed FF&E Specifications.

Developing finish, fixtures, equipment, hardware and plumbing schedules.

Preparing renderings, and graphic layout for client presentations.

Tracking, ordering, and processing purchase orders and maintaining budgets for multiple vendors and clients.

Assisting with construction drawing sets, in coordination with the Senior Interior Designer and Project Architect.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

4-6 years experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school of interior design or architecture.

Knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation.

SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
3Qi Design is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with experience in luxury hotels, restaurants and high-end residential projects to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is able to lead a strong design team and act in a project management role.
DUTIES

This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.

Responsible for material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines.

Creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination).
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

8-10 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school.

Passion for design and an eye for detail.

Excellent hand sketching and rendering ability.

Knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation.

High proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.

LEED accreditation a plus.
